Arnaud Ente Bourgogne Chardonnay 2016
A rising star in Burgundy. This small, family run estate based in Meursault, has been attracting attention for all the right reasons. According to Robert Parker.com – “There are a handful of more famous domaines in Meursault, but few that can equal the level of the stunning wines found at this small, family run estate that captures the essence of the Burgundian vigneron spirit”.
This is their entry level Bourgogne Blanc but Arnaud and his wife elicit the same meticulous attention to this wine as they do to their cru and village wine.
A blend of two parcels in Meursault and in Puligny-Montrachet the Bourgogne Blanc shows a layered richness and complexity beyond its humble Bourgogne appellation.
Jancis Robinson Review –
Not much nose but excellent tension and passion-fruit acidity on the palate. Long and tingling. Very suave indeed. So clean and refreshing.
